Measure submarine groundwater discharge into surface water or infiltration of surface water contamination into groundwater aquifers.

Collect data on amount and rate of stormwater runoff to assess recharge rate into groundwater aquifers and to monitor the impact of groundwater/surface water interaction.

Landfill Monitoring

Measure groundwater levels to determine the highest measured groundwater levels and rainfall/recharge relationships. Data is used to assess the feasibility of expanding existing landfill sites and to develop site-specific design requirements.
